The instructions below will help you add a filter to your email account to prevent emails from our class website (noreply@classcreator.net) from going to your SPAM or JUNK folder. This process is called whitelisting. There are separate sections for different email systems. Click on any of the links below to show or hide those instructions.
- AOL whitelisting help
You must add the email address or corporate domain of the sender to your address book or custom sender list to make sure email gets delivered to your AOL inbox.
- Click Contacts on the left navigation bar of your inbox screen.
- Click the "New Contact" icon on the top bar
- Add a new contact with email noreply@classcreator.net
- Click the "Add Contact" button at the bottom.

- At the top right, click the Mail icon to reach your inbox.
- Click the Address Book tab.
- Click New Contact on the left sidebar.
- Add noreply@classcreator.net
- Click Save to save the contact.

- Click: > Settings > Filters and Blocked address > Create new filter.
- On the 'from' line add noreply@classcreator.net
- Click: > Create new filter > Never send it to SPAM.
- Hotmail whitelisting help
Hotmail is covered by the Outlook.com instructions, since hotmail.com now forwards you to Outlook.com when you click on the email icon.

MSN is covered by the Outlook.com instructions, since msn.com now forwards you to Outlook.com when you click on the email icon.

- Select Actions > Junk E-mail > Junk E-mail Options from the menu in Outlook.
- Go to the Safe Senders tab.
- Click Add.
- Type noreply@classcreator.net
- Click OK.
- Click OK again.
- Outlook.com junk filter help
- The simplest approach, is to add noreply@classcreator.net to your contacts. Outlook.com will usually deliver email from addresses that are in your Contacts.
Or... Add the address to your safe senders:
- Click the cog icon in the top-right corner
- Click on "View all Outlook settings" at the bottom of the pane
- Click on "Junk email" in the center pane
- Find the "Safe senders and domains" section
- Add noreply@classcreator.net to the list of Safe senders
- Find the "Safe mailing lists" section
- Add noreply@classcreator.net to the list of Safe mailing lists
- Thunderbird app junk filter help
- Open your Thunderbird email client
- If an email from appears in your Junk folder, mark that message as Not Junk.
- Then, add noreply@classcreator.net to your Address Book:
- Click the Address Book button.
- Make sure the Personal Address Book is highlighted.
- Click the New Contact button.
- Under the Contact tab, enter noreply@classcreator.net into the email text box.
- Click OK.
- Yahoo whitelisting help
- You can simply add noreply@classcreator.net to your Yahoo! Mail Contacts. Yahoo! will usually deliver email from addresses that are in your Contacts.
Or... you can create a filter:
- Mouse over the Settings menu icon and select Settings
- Click Filters and then Add
- Enter a Filter Name... like Gunn69
- Enter noreply@classcreator.net in the Recipient field
- Select Inbox as the folder to deliver the email to
- Click Save and then click Save again
There are so many possible combinations of services, and platforms on which they're hosted (web, desktop, mobile), that we're unlikely to catch them all. You may be able to use some instructions above that seem close enough, that they'll get you where you need to go, to get the job done.
