Colin Portnuff 

A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 19, 2007, in Holman's Funeral Service for Colin Portnuff, who died Feb. 11 at age 55. 

Mr. Portnuff was born Nov. 8, 1951, in Montreal. He lived in the Portland area for 22 years and owned Island Joe's restaurant. He was also involved with the ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) and American Diabetes associations. In 1976, he married Laurie Farquhar. 

Survivors include his wife; son, Cory; daughter, Lindsay; and sisters, Gail Venable and Wendy Portnuff.
