Passed away March 23, 2018. His widow says, "We had 26 years together and he helped to raise our son who had just turns 4 when we met. He was the kindest, most supportive and generous man I’ve ever known. It might surprise some of his classmates that he went back to school at the age of 50 and got a BS in Organizational Management from USF. He also 'bagged' a 14,000 foot peak in the Sierra that same year."

Duffy had an infectious smile and a twinkle in his eye, I remember him reveling in an alterego Fred Funston (which I later learned was the name of a park in San Francisco). Being around him was always a fun time.
