Rupe and I grew up in the same neighborhood on the College Terrace and were close friends since we were in elementary school. We maintained our friendship as he went on to get married and lived/worked in Sacramento. I've never met a kinder, more giving friend than Rupe. He would do anything for you if your needed help. His passing was and still is a shock to me and continues to show how fragile life is for all of us.
